Great effort from our team once again this year at the City to Surf marathon.
It was a near-perfect day for running, cool but not too cold, slight breeze but not too windy and beautiful clear skies. The 6am start was slightly challenging but well worth it to support a great cause. As a team we were proud to take on this challenge together. Some of our team member’s experience below:
Timothy Rattigan | Lead E&I Designer – “I was heartened to find a fine day in store after having showers predicted. It was all happy trails and many cheering team mates waiting me at the end with frothy beverages. All in all, a good time was had, and it was all smiles at the end.”
Max Piirto | Business Development Manager – “Diggers and dealers just prior to the race was a less than ideal lead up to the marathon so was pleasantly surprised to make it around all 42kms with arms, limbs and desired pace intact. Highlight by far was the shared sense of achievement amongst the group at breakfast afterwards. Smiles all round irrespective of distance, though that could’ve been the bloody mary’s”
