Electrical and Instrumentation
Primero provide comprehensive electrical and instrumentation design solutions for industrial projects. Our team of consulting engineers have the skillset to complete any project efficiently, ensuring that any solution we provide is safe above all.
At Primero our electrical engineers and designers have significant experience with power system analysis software tools such as ETAP. The package is used to develop a model of the plant so that all equipment is suitably rated for fault levels and load flow. In addition protection grading studies and earth grid design specific to the plants electrical system are completed. Our engineers are experienced with large motor starting effects on power systems, such as mills and crushers, and are familiar with methods to reduce this impact such as by VVVF, LRS SER or straight LRS.
